
Born on July the 14th 1988, Conor Anthony McGregor was raised in the rough working-class streets of Crumlin. At the age of 18 Mcgregor made his MMA debut against Kieran Campbell on the 17th of February. He started his full-time career in MMA in 2007, then 4 years later he won both the cage warriors featherweight and lightweight championships holding both them simultaneously before vacating them to sign with the UFC.

On April the 6th 2013 Mcgregor flew to Stockholm in Sweden to kick off his first professional UFC fight against marcus brimage.

As you can see in the first round at 3 minutes 53 seconds of the fight Mcgregor wins in a fashionable style by knocking his opponent out. From this day on it all started….
On december 12th 2015 Mcgregor fought Jose Aldo for the featherweight title at the MGM grand garden arena in Las Vegas. On that night he knocked Aldo out in a record of 13 seconds to go on and win the featherweight title.

This was a big moment in Conor’s career, winning his first UFC belt. This gave him the confidence to move up weight class as he felt he was too good for that division. A year later he went on to win the lightweight title, fighting Alvarez held on November 12th 2016 at Madison Square Garden, New York. McGregor became the first fighter in the promotions history to hold titles in two divisions simultaneously.
